Sonos wanted to be the essential soundtrack for the holiday season, bringing the joy of music to life for every festive occasion.
To bring their vision to life, we created “The Elves of Sound”, an emotive hero film that captured the whimsy of the holidays and the magic of Sonos, highlighting the way Sonos sound transforms every holiday moment into something truly special.

We collaborated with director Nabil Elderkin, cinematographer Drew Daniels, and songwriter Justin Tranter—who produced an original holiday track, “Blame It On Christmas”, which captured our campaign’s festive energy and joy, and highlighted the pivotal role of sound in holiday traditions.
Through bold visuals, playful storytelling, and thoughtful execution, we positioned Sonos as the essential soundtrack for the season by highlighting its suite of products in a sound-driven holiday story. Playful elves revealed Sonos to be the magical and emotional core of holiday festivities, creating connection through music, heart, and humor.
The hero film launched globally on November 1st and was accompanied by multiple OOH displays in iconic holiday hotspots across New York City, from the iconic corner on 34th Street along Fashion Ave. to Times Square.
