Samsung: The Remotula

Samsung needed to connect with those stuck at home to launch the new Samsung Terrace, the brand's latest outdoor television. The challenge was to draw earned media and engage press, media and influencers in a creative way - all from home.

We designed and fabricated an exclusive promotional item - The Remotula - that brought awareness around how the Terrace TV allows you grill outside while watching your favorite shows, we were able to capture press attention through seeding kits and a content series that helped people level up their barbeque experience and launch the hero product in a new way. Working with Chef influencer Josh Weissman, we oversaw a remote shoot to create teaser content to be pushed out the week leading up to the TV’s launch that received over 10,000 social engagements.

In addition to the kits, we amplified the launch with a nationwide sweepstakes through an owned and operated microsite, giving away a grilling package of the Terrace TV, a Remotula, and a Weber Grill to five lucky winners out of over 9,000 entries.
