Bumble: City Takeovers

Bumble was looking to increase brand sentiment and cultivate community engagement during a year when fostering connections was more difficult than most.

Creating a strategy that centered around authentic partnerships and creative OOH in each of our target markets, we were able to speak directly to the local community and engage people where they already were.

We tracked brand sentiment in our chosen markets and scrutinized the competitive dating landscape for a full picture of where Bumble is today and where we can grow in the future. This data allowed us to roll into the right neighborhoods and build exciting buzz through local partners.

In Phoenix, connections bloomed as passersby received surprise bouquets and air plants provided by local florist Camelback, spreading joy and creating buzz.  While in Boston, a partnership with the Red Sox brought an epic love story to life – inviting Bostonians to share their best Bumble story for a chance to win the dating experience of a lifetime at Fenway Park. And there is no greater love than that between a New Yorker and their bodega, so we helped Bumble show up for NYC with Bumble Bodega, handing out free breakfast sandwiches and coffee to anyone with a Bumble profile. Each location accompanied by targeted messaging to really bring our story home.
